Suzanne Denning brings to her firm a variety of experience in public accounting. Her first experience in accounting grew out of her association with one of Augusta’s oldest firms, George C. Baird & Company which later became Baird & Company. In 1977 her father, Roger Denning, retired after 30 years as the Senior Partner there and Suzanne continued to work with her father for many years in his private practice as his secretary while completing her BA in English at Augusta College.
After graduation, Suzanne was hired by Robert S. Coursey, CPA as a bookkeeper and immediately decided to return to graduate studies in accounting to secure her CPA status. In 1983, Suzanne became a partner with Coursey & Denning, CPA, where her practice grew and diversified. In 2007, she joined Elliott Davis, LLC in Augusta, GA as a Senior Manager.
Now in her private practice established in 2014, Suzanne feels she is carrying out the original mission of her pursuit into the accounting field: taking care of client’s needs and providing the personalized attention that each client wants and deserves.
